Al Ain is the UAE's inland garden city and, despite being only two hours from Dubai, it feels like a completely different country. It is greener, quieter, and considerably older — the region has been continuously inhabited for over 5,000 years and has more UNESCO World Heritage Sites than anywhere else in the UAE.
The tour typically covers Al Ain Zoo, Jebel Hafeet — a dramatic mountain summit road with panoramic views across the city and the Empty Quarter — Green Mubazzarah hot springs, Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain Museum, Al Ain Palace Museum, Al Ain Oasis (a UNESCO-listed ancient falaj irrigation system), the Camel Market, and Hili Archaeological Park.

What makes Al Ain different from Dubai?

What is the Camel Market?
Al Ain's Camel Market is one of the last traditional livestock markets in the UAE. Hundreds of camels are bought and sold here every week. It is an authentic, photogenic stop and very different from Dubai's typical tourist attractions.
Is Jebel Hafeet included?
Yes. The drive to the Jebel Hafeet summit is one of the highlights of the tour. The mountain road winds up 1,240 metres with remarkable views of Al Ain and the desert beyond.
How far is Al Ain from Dubai?
Al Ain is approximately 160 km from Dubai, about 1.5 to 2 hours by road. Most of the drive is on a well-maintained highway.
Are zoo entrance tickets included?
Zoo entrance tickets are not included in the tour price but can be arranged on request. Please let us know at booking if you would like to include the zoo.
Is there time for lunch?
Yes. The itinerary includes time for lunch, which is at your own expense. Al Ain has excellent local restaurants — your driver will recommend good options.
